MINISTRY SUPPLY FOR MINISTER OF MUSIC OR PASTOR.

If you have a minister of music on vacation or your church is between ministers of music and you need a fill in, why not contact us for ministry supply? Or if you have a smaller church and your pastor is on vacation, why not allow us to fill in with a week of special emphasis on praise and worship?

Showalter Evangelism Ministries (SEM) is committed to the ministry of Praise and Worship in the local church and the development of effective programs for ministering (evangelizing) a secular society with the "good news" of Jesus.

PRAISE AND WORSHIP CONCERTS

This concert program is designed for churches of older congregations of church which have been stunted in a music form which is ineffective in today's society. The objective is through music and multi-media to show how music has progressed through the ages and how older generations have often been slow to embrace that of the newer generation. But in that embrace continued revival can be encouraged through Spirit filled contemporary expression.

Most of the music used will be familiar songs leading into a closing time of musical worship. Love offerings and presentation of ministry cassettes, CDs and videos will be the source of remuneration.

PRAISE AND WORSHIP SEMINARS

This is usually a one day (Saturday) seminar beginning about 9 a.m. and concluding around 2 p.m.. Lunch needs to be provided in house about 11:30 a.m.. The a.m. will be spent understanding the Biblical prospective of Praise and Worship. The afternoon session will be spent dealing with practical application concepts. An additional hour is available for Praise and Worship leaders dealing with technical issues. Funding should be $20.00 individual registration fee plus presentation of ministry cassettes, CDs and videos.

PRAISE AND WORSHIP CONFERENCES

This is a Praise and Worship conference, usually two and one half days in length. The materials would be from the MMRT syllabus dealing with a Bible study approach on Praise and Worship. Funding should be $60.00 individual or $120.00 church registration fee plus presentation of ministry cassettes, CDs and videos.

PRAISE AND WORSHIP WEEK END REVIVALS

There are many churches that are divided between age groups. This program is designed to teach what Praise and Worship is (an activity which is not predominantly a "style" of music. The approach would try to unlock closed minds by using older forms of sacred music, demonstrating the progression of music and how historically older groups have rejected the next generation's approach. The appeal would be to furnish some music that would lead older generations in genuine praise and worship and yet be effective in the conversion of their children and grand children embracing their choice of praise and worship.

The schedule would be:

Friday evening: Understanding principle and basics of Praise and Worship.

Sermon title - "Praise - Why?"

Saturday evening: Dealing with who "tradition" can hamper the continuing growth of the church and the evangelism of our children and grandchildren.

Sermon title: "Praise - How?"

Sunday morning: An evangelistic approach using Praise and Worship scripture for the basis.

Sunday evening: The challenge to embrace youth and their worship styles while finding ways to meet their own worship tastes.

Sermon title: "Praise - When?"

Financed as a weekend revival plus presentation of ministry cassettes, CDs, and videos.

A.I.M. : Art In Ministry
The AIM ministry is designed to equip and train a local church for community evangelism. The target is finding a church which has a quality music or drama program but has not known how to us that groups or groupsin outdoor ministry.

This will involve a week training program where the laity of the entire church utilizes their spiritual gifts. Time would be spent refining the music and drama program for outdoor use leading up to a Sunday evening presentation in a park or outdoor civic center. Time will be available to teach the church how they can involve civic organizations in financial assistance. Program would necessitate an evening "pot luck" meal to present concept and organize. The after several weeks to prepare we would be back for a week of final preparation. Financed as a full week revival.
